The Festal Guadalajara

Since I met my Mexican confidant, Isabela, in the Internet two years ago, she has been advising that I visit her hometown of Guadalajara. Every time she would call me she would always tell me amusing and adventurous information about her place. At first I considered she was working in the Tourism department of Guadalajara because of the way she gabs, and her being persistent told me so. However, when she started posting in her blog the portrait of her and her other confidants, I got so excited and I just cannot wait to be there.

In her blog, Isabela told one by one of the fun happenings they had during the Fiestas de Octubre in Guadalajara. It is a convention in her hometown to observe their Jaliscan culture. It is a month-long festival that includes free concerts every night, rodeos, football tournaments, folk dances, and art exhibitions. And to top it all, there are on the house victuals as well! She also posted photos that confirms how graceful their Jaliscan dancers are as they show off their colorful Jaliscan wardrobes.

And as I was wandering through Isabela's blog, I made sure my old lady and dad were just around. All I got to do now is to be as persistent equal to my friend to be able to win over my parents and allow me to visit Isabela.
