Mexico's Unseen Attraction
Mexico is renown for its world-class beaches and resorts as well as other lovely tourists attractions. Mexican edibles chiefly the tacos and quesadillas are also the favorites of many. However, we only distinguish the magnificence of Mexico according to what our eyes are able to reach. But lower than the beaches of Mexico lies the historic and stunning Chicxulub Crater.
Chicxulub Crater is an impact crater that lies beneath the Yucatan Peninsula, and the center of the depression is settled around under the municipality of Chicxulub, Yucatan in Mexico. According to scientific investigations, the crater was shaped during the Cretaceous Period wherein a colossal meteorite hit the earth. It is also known that the same meteorite that form the immense crater was the same meteorite impact that causes the loss of dinosaurs.
This ideology is being teach in schools worldwide but not all people in the field of science deem this presumption. The upshot of the said 10 km meteorite was so great that the explosion was even greater than the most forceful explosive apparatus that has ever been discharged. The meteorite released an estimated 100,000 gigatons while the most forceful explosive released about one-twentieth of the gigaton, and the said eruption of the meteorite is believed to have reduced the earth's temperature for a year because of dust coverings.
