Pleasing Meals Instilled with the Aroma of Tequila

Mexican cooking has always involved complex ingredients like special herbs and spices that is found exclusively in Mexico or fully developed spirits like the country’s national drink – tequila! Tequila's use in the Mexican kitchen was enthused by the drink’s popularity in numerous alcohol mixes that are a hit in club-hoppers.

The tequila business venture started by accident, as the folk tale relates, when an agave plant was struck by lightning and a native saw some liquid generously flowing from it. Since then, several ways of fermenting the agave were expanded to be able to obtain the highest quality of liquid more popular now as the hip Mexican drink..

I was able to experience a delectable tequila dinner at hip El Callejon which opened with a diminutive glass of richly fermented, what else but tequila and then the chaser. This was followed by the main course, which I can not memorize what it’s called, but it’s essentially T-bone steak with savory sauce splashed with the right enough amount of tequila for the kick. After my trip to the El Callejon, my mind was boggled to look out for more recipes utilizing tequila as its main ingredient and incredibly, there are tons of them from appetizers to main course meals and desserts. Tequila will not be the stet alcoholic potion of Mexico for nothing!
