The Tale Of Nutritious Mexican Cuisine
A colleague of mine who is fit and into diets and long walks in the park likes the hot dishes of Mexican cuisine. She is one of those people who digest that Mexican cuisine is nutritious because it contains rice, tortillas, and beans. Surely, eating fajitas at diners and dinners could pose no problems in our health, right?
Unfortunately, recent studies show that not all the Mexican nutrition that we eat is nutritious. In fact, a regular order of Cheese and Beef Nachos at a diner has just as much fat as ten sugar glazed donuts in a coffee shop. Of course, while the chicken fajitas can be an option for dinners, weight watchers should ditch the guacamole, beans, and the sour cream. Eating chicken burrito for dinner has enough sodium to last you for a day, so you might try to make your kiddos eat a small measure, and give them plenty of water to wash it down. If you really can't stay away from Speedy Gonzalez's fare, why not try more chicken, rice, reduced-fat cheese, or veggies, and cut back on your taking in of sour cream. If you plan to head up to the saloon for a shot of Tequila, consider the number of calories you've already ingested before doing so.
