Satisfy Your Taste Buds To A Spicy Meal In Mexico

As we all notice Mexico is recognized for its rich history and culture, and of course, its spicy delicacies. Hence, on my wandering to this happy country, I let myself yield in a tempting dish that fired up my taste buds -- Tortas Ahogadas, sandwiches that are swimming in mouthwatering chili sauce. The chili sauce used in this Mexican meal is made of chili, plump tomatoes, chopped garlic, and the ever-famous spicy pepper, the habanero.

Aside for the truly spicy ingredients of Tortas Ahogadas, I was also startled by the bread used in this dish, which is popular as Bolillo that is sliced in half and stuffed with bite-size meats such as the Carne Asada or the Carnitas.

The spicy sauce is then poured over the meat-stuffed sandwich, making the procedure of eating it a sodden one. Indeed, this food will make your fingers get gloppy with all the sauce, but it is worth it. If you don't want to get your hands sodden, you can dip the sandwich on the sauce, although the original procedure is to pour the spicy mixture onto the Bolillo sandwich. Now since Tortas Ahogadas is a very pungent one, you may wishto have a thirst-quencher. You bet I suffered the corresponding spicy bite when I tried Tortas Ahogadas, and so I had a glass of cold Cerveza, or beer. Moreover, this food is also prescribed to be taken with a glass of chilled Agua Preparado de Limon Rallado, or sweet lemon drink, which can also calm down the hot taste buds.
