Hail to the Gent Who Invented the Toothsome Nachos

My kitchen never runs out of my prized finger foods that I like to chomp when I watch TV or when I do something in front of my computer. I always make sure that I have an acceptable stockpile of chips and dips to enjoy my spare time. One of my most loved chips is nacho and I would like to give my praise to Ignacio Anaya -- the great person who invented this very toothsome tortilla chips.

I did some research about my prized chips and I found out that a gent named Ingacio "Nacho" Anaya was the first creator of nachos. Anaya was from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico and worked as a service crew at the bar known as El Moderno. Andaya's initial recipe of nachos included fried tortilla with jalapeƱos and flavorful melted cheese on its top. The first nacho that was served at El Moderno was known as Nachos Especiales and people who visited the bar just loved this very special side dish.

To salute Ingacio "Nacho" Andaya's invention of the toothsome nachos, the International Day of the Nacho is celebrated starting in the 1990's. Mexicans and people from other parts of the world who just love eating nachos observe this happening through eating nachos paired with various toothsome toppings.
